Lisa Gibson | Collaborator

Lisa is a facilitator, coach, systems-change consultant, and educator based in Vancouver, with more than twenty-five years of local and international work across many scales. She specializes in helping individuals, organizations, and communities embed systemic change, transform belief systems, and build alliances across difference. Her background spans social justice, gender and development, community engagement, Zen meditation, and somatic practice, and her particular interest is the meeting point of complexity thinking, inner work, and the capacity to work across difference as the core capacities for change in a world of mounting complexity.

She is a founding instructor and curriculum designer across a range of social-innovation, systems-change, facilitation, and mindfulness programs, and her consulting with nonprofits, government, and foundations centers on complex multistakeholder facilitation, strategic planning and design, creativity and innovation, leadership development, and mindfulness. She is a Certified Integral Facilitator and a transmitted Zen teacher, and holds a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Victoria, a master's in Gender and Development from the University of Sussex, and a certificate in Integral Theory from John F. Kennedy University.
