I am an executive coach, team facilitator, and conflict mediator.
For more than fifteen years I have worked in the rooms where leaders and teams meet their hardest moments. The conversation being avoided. The conflict that is fraying relationships. The decision that will shape everything after it. My work is to help people meet those moments without defense, so that clarity, courage, and real collaboration become possible.
My grounding is both academic and contemplative. I hold a master’s from Stanford in Policy, Organization, and Leadership Studies, with a focus on adult development, and I taught in Stanford’s Designing Your Life program. I am a certified Integral Facilitator, and I bring more than a decade of contemplative training as a monk in the Zen lineage at Two Arrows Zen Center. With Diane Musho Hamilton, I co-authored Compassionate Conversations: How to Speak and Listen from the Heart and Waking Up and Growing Up: Spiritual Cross-Training for an Evolving World, both published by Shambhala.
I believe collaboration is the most powerful and least tapped resource we have, and that the challenges we face in this era will demand a radical level of collaboration we have not seen before. It is my mission to do my small part in preparing us to meet this moment. I believe our differences are not meant to divide us, but to become thresholds into something larger.
